British Airways has unveiled a new direct flight connecting London Stansted and Bergerac, located in the heart of France’s Dordogne region. Launching in June 2025, the route is set to provide greater travel flexibility for British expats and second-home owners in France. The journey will take just over 90 minutes, catering to the increasing demand for seamless travel options.
This service will operate alongside British Airways’ existing Bergerac-London City route, which offers up to five flights weekly during summer. The new route introduces competition to Ryanair’s established service on the same path, giving travelers more choices.
The Dordogne region is a favorite among British expats for its picturesque landscapes and cultural appeal. This new connection reinforces its popularity, offering enhanced access to one of France's most sought-after areas.
For travellers, this means not only convenience but also an opportunity to explore or revisit this beautiful region. Stay updated on flight schedules and plan your summer 2025 trips early!
Remember, if you are flying to France from outside of the EU from January 2025, you need to get the new travel authorisation called ETIAS. More information on this here.
